Gates PV407 Vapor Canister Purge Solenoid - Valve

The Gates PV407 is a high-quality vapor canister purge solenoid valve designed to control the flow of fuel vapors from the charcoal canister to the engine intake manifold. This critical emission control component helps maintain proper operation of the evaporative emission control (EVAP) system while ensuring compliance with environmental regulations.

Key Features:

• OE-quality construction engineered for durability and maximum service life
• 2-port hose configuration for reliable vapor flow control
• Precision-engineered valve design for accurate purge control
• High-quality materials resist fuel vapor degradation
• Direct replacement for failed or malfunctioning original equipment

This purge solenoid valve is electronically controlled by the vehicle's powertrain control module to regulate when fuel vapors are drawn into the engine for combustion. Replacing a faulty purge valve restores proper EVAP system function, eliminates check engine lights related to emission system faults, and helps maintain optimal fuel economy and engine performance.
