Clevite MS829FX Main Bearing Set

The Clevite MS829FX is a high-performance F-Series tri-metal main bearing set designed for demanding racing and competition engine applications. The F-series bearing features a lead-tin-indium-alumina electroplated overlay applied over a cast bronze lead substrate for maximum performance and dependability. This advanced construction delivers exceptional seizure resistance and durability under extreme operating conditions.

Key Features:

• Capable of carrying maximum loads of up to 12,000 psi
• Provides a 126% increase in load carrying capacity before seizure versus conventional copper, tin or lead overlay H-series bearings
• Three-layer tri-metal construction with hardened steel backing
• Extra 0.001 inch clearance (FX designation) for precision engine builds
• Ramp and pad designed thrust face creates increased oil pressure to the thrust wear surface, increasing lubrication and bearing cooling
• Dimensionally compatible with H-Series bearings for easy upgrades

The F-Series represents the pinnacle of Clevite's bearing technology, offering superior seizure resistance and load capacity compared to traditional performance bearings. The FX version includes extra clearance for engines requiring looser tolerances, making it ideal for race engines, high-RPM applications, and performance builds demanding the ultimate in bearing technology. Manufactured by MAHLE/Clevite to exacting specifications for competition use.
