Sierra 18-7844 Fuel Water Separator Filter 21 Micron Short

The Sierra 18-7844 Fuel Water Separator Filter is a short, 21 micron fuel filter and water separator for marine engines. It helps keep water and particles out of the fuel system. Other names for it include fuel filter, water separating fuel filter and fuel/water separator.

Key Features:

• 21 micron rating, over 90% efficient at removing particles as small as 21 micron
• Short-style filter, suited to installations where space is limited
• Helps with ethanol-blended fuel, which absorbs more water and loosens more particulates than regular fuel

Sierra describes this filter as a direct replacement for select GLM, Mallory, Mercruiser Sterndrive, Mercury and Quicksilver filters. Proper filtration helps protect your engine, so change the filter regularly as part of routine maintenance.
