Goodyear 767129673 Assurance WeatherReady 2 215/60R17 96V All-Weather Tire

The Goodyear Assurance WeatherReady 2 is a grand touring all-weather tire designed for drivers of compact cars, passenger sedans, crossovers, and SUVs who demand year-round confidence and performance. This tire combines the smooth, quiet ride of a premium touring tire with the severe weather capability needed to handle challenging conditions throughout all four seasons.

Three Peak Mountain Snowflake Certified: The Assurance WeatherReady 2 has earned the industry's Three Peak Mountain Snowflake (3PMSF) certification, meeting strict severe snow service requirements for reliable performance in moderate to severe winter weather conditions. This certification sets it apart from standard all-season tires by providing enhanced traction in snow and ice.

Advanced Weather Technology:

• AquaTred Technology with Evolving Traction Grooves: Wide sweeping grooves effectively channel water away from the contact patch to resist hydroplaning and maintain wet-weather grip
• Soybean Oil-Enhanced Rubber Compound: Special all-weather compound remains flexible and pliable even in subfreezing temperatures for improved cold-weather traction
• Directional Tread Design: Engineered tread pattern optimizes traction and handling in dry, wet, and winter conditions
• Built-in Wear Gauge: Visual tread depth indicator allows drivers to easily monitor tire wear and remaining life

Construction and Comfort Features: The tire's internal structure features two layers of polyester plies reinforced by twin steel belts for strength and straight-line tracking stability, topped with a polyamide cap ply for enhanced high-speed performance. Multi-pitch tread sequencing dissipates road noise, while comfort inserts in the sidewall smooth out rough road surfaces for a quieter, more comfortable ride.

Size Specifications: This 215/60R17 tire features a 96V speed rating (speeds up to 149 mph) and Standard Load (SL) construction. The tire measures 215mm in section width, has a 60% aspect ratio, and fits 17-inch diameter wheels.
