Product Details

The Vortex 196AZR-44 is a high-performance aluminum rear sprocket designed for sport and racing motorcycles. This precision-engineered sprocket features 44 teeth and is manufactured from Vortex's proprietary 7075-T6 aluminum alloy, offering an excellent balance of strength and weight savings compared to steel sprockets.

Key Features:

  • 44-tooth configuration for optimized gearing
  • Constructed from lightweight 7075-T6 aluminum alloy
  • Hard-anodized finish for extended wear resistance
  • CNC-machined for precise tooth profile and accurate fitment
  • Self-cleaning mud groove design helps shed debris
  • Significant weight reduction over stock steel sprockets
  • Ideal for track and performance street applications

Vortex sprockets are manufactured to exact tolerances and undergo rigorous quality control testing. The hard-anodized coating provides a durable surface that resists wear while maintaining the lightweight benefits of aluminum construction. This sprocket is designed to work with standard 520, 525, or 530 pitch chains depending on the specific application.

Smooth

Thanks, and have a great day!

wasn't as fluid as I expected

Nice and easy to purchase an item we wanted and it was found cheapest here.

They had exactly what I was looking for at the best price so I went ahead and made the order which I don't regret. They shipped out my order the very next day and received it in about 3 days. Can't comment on the durability yet because I still haven't installed my new Megan Racing muffler. I'll give an update. But I do recommend this site.

Very easy to find what I was looking for and easy to check out!!

quick, easy
