Product Details

The Vortex 195AZK-49 is a lightweight CAT5 aluminum rear sprocket featuring 49 teeth and designed for 520 pitch chain applications. This high-performance racing sprocket is precision-manufactured using CNC machining from aerospace-grade 7075-T6 aluminum alloy, delivering exceptional strength while significantly reducing rotational mass compared to steel sprockets.

Key Features:

  • 49-tooth configuration for optimized gear ratios
  • 520 pitch chain compatibility
  • 100% CNC machined in the USA from 7075-T6 aluminum
  • CAT5 hard-anodized finish for superior wear resistance
  • Lightweight construction reduces rotating mass for improved acceleration
  • Precision-machined tooth profile ensures smooth, quiet operation
  • Black anodized finish with machined accents
  • Race-proven design used by professional teams worldwide

Vortex CAT5 sprockets feature a specially formulated hard-anodizing process that creates an ultra-hard surface, significantly extending sprocket life while maintaining the weight advantages of aluminum construction. The 195AZK series is a popular choice for sport bikes and track applications where reducing unsprung weight and rotational mass translates directly to improved performance and faster lap times.

Finding the part was super easy and simple. The only issue I really had was the delay in the shipping. I paid extra for faster shipping and it still took over a week to get to me. When I tried contacting them through the chat I never got any feedback after asking questions just a "let me check that for you" then chat ended. I finally decided to email and then I got a reply basically saying the same thing. Correct part did wind up showing up without tracking update(kept showing sent to warehouse).

Arrived quickly.

Good
