Vortex 190-48 Aluminum Rear Sprocket 48 Tooth

The Vortex 190-48 is a precision-manufactured aluminum rear sprocket featuring 48 teeth, designed to deliver exceptional performance and weight savings for motorcycles. Vortex sprockets are made from aerospace-grade aluminum, providing optimal power transfer and reduced rotational mass. This lightweight design helps improve throttle response and acceleration while maintaining durability for racing and high-performance street applications.

Key Features:

• 48-tooth aluminum rear sprocket for customized gearing
• Constructed from aerospace-grade aluminum for strength and minimal weight
• Clear protective coating to prevent oxidation and corrosion
• Precision-machined for accurate fitment and concentricity
• Iconic Vortex two-tone machined appearance
• Ideal for road racing, track days, and performance street riding

Aluminum sprockets are half the weight of steel counterparts but require proper maintenance, with chain cleaning and tensioning recommended every 300-400 miles. The 48-tooth configuration allows riders to fine-tune their gear ratios for improved acceleration characteristics compared to stock gearing. The silver sprocket features a clear coating to help prevent oxidation.
