Vortex 165ZB-45 Aluminum Rear Sprocket 420 Pitch 45 Tooth Blue

Vortex Racing rear sprockets are made to precise specifications from aluminum ensuring concentricity and durability. The 165ZB-45 is a lightweight aluminum racing sprocket featuring 45 teeth and 420 pitch chain compatibility, finished in an attractive blue anodized coating.

Key Features:

• 100% CNC manufactured in the U.S.A. for precision and quality
• Specially formulated alloy per Vortex specifications for optimal strength-to-weight ratio
• Anodized to prevent corrosion with blue finish for added style
• Unique tooth design increases sprocket longevity
• Lightening holes reduce rotating mass for improved acceleration
• 420 pitch chain compatible - 45 tooth configuration

Vortex Racing rear aluminum sprockets are the racer's choice. Their lightweight reduces rotating mass and aids in putting more power to the pavement. Ideal for motorcycles, dirt bikes, and small displacement sportbikes requiring 420 pitch drivetrain components.

Note: Aluminum sprockets solve the weight problem by being half the weight of a steel counterpart, but are softer, requiring more care and attention to achieve proper performance. Aluminum sprockets are very sensitive to chain cleanliness and tension, so bikes with aluminum sprockets should have the chain cleaned and tensioned every 300-400 miles.
