Product Details

The Vortex 144AZB-40 is a lightweight aluminum rear sprocket engineered for serious riders who demand both performance and durability. This 525 pitch sprocket features 40 teeth and comes with an attractive blue anodized finish that not only looks great but also provides enhanced wear resistance.

Key Features:

  • 100% CNC machined in the USA from 7075-T6 aircraft grade aluminum alloy
  • Specially formulated alloy manufactured to Vortex specifications for optimal strength-to-weight ratio
  • Blue anodized finish for corrosion resistance and visual appeal
  • Unique tooth profile design engineered to increase sprocket longevity
  • Lightweight construction reduces rotating mass for improved acceleration and handling
  • Strategic lightening holes minimize weight while maintaining structural integrity
  • 525 chain pitch with 40 tooth configuration

Vortex Racing sprockets are the choice of professional racers and performance enthusiasts worldwide. The reduced rotating mass compared to OEM steel sprockets allows more power to reach the pavement, resulting in quicker acceleration and more responsive handling. Each sprocket undergoes precision CNC machining to ensure perfect fitment and optimal chain engagement.
