Vortex 120BZK-48 CAT5 Aluminum Rear Sprocket 48 Tooth Black

The Vortex 120BZK-48 is a high-performance aluminum rear sprocket designed for racing and street applications. This 48-tooth sprocket is precision-engineered from aerospace-grade 7075-T6 aluminum alloy, delivering exceptional strength while significantly reducing rotational mass compared to steel sprockets.

Key Features:

• 48-tooth configuration for optimal power transfer
• CAT5 hard-anodized black finish for corrosion resistance and durability
• Aerospace-grade 7075-T6 aluminum construction reduces weight
• CNC-machined to the tightest tolerances for precise fitment
• Drilled lightening holes minimize rotating mass for improved acceleration
• Self-cleaning tooth profile design extends sprocket life
• Manufactured in the USA by Vortex Racing

Vortex CAT5 aluminum sprockets undergo a Type III hard-anodizing process that penetrates deep into the aluminum, creating a surface that is significantly harder than untreated aluminum. This process provides superior wear resistance while maintaining the weight-saving benefits of aluminum construction. The precision CNC-machining ensures perfect alignment with your chain, reducing wear and maximizing power transfer to the rear wheel.
