Product Details

The Vortex 825A-40 is a high-performance aluminum rear sprocket designed for sportbike and street motorcycle applications. Manufactured from 7075-T6 aluminum alloy, this lightweight sprocket delivers excellent strength-to-weight ratio while reducing rotational mass for improved acceleration and handling response.

Key Features:

  • 40-tooth configuration for optimized gearing
  • 7075-T6 aircraft-grade aluminum construction
  • CNC-machined for precise tolerances and perfect fitment
  • Hard-anodized finish for enhanced durability and wear resistance
  • Self-cleaning mud grooves to prevent debris buildup
  • Lightweight design reduces unsprung weight
  • 520 pitch chain compatible

Vortex sprockets are engineered to meet or exceed OEM specifications while providing performance advantages. The hard-anodized surface treatment significantly extends service life compared to standard aluminum sprockets, making this an excellent choice for both street and track applications.
