Vortex 824ZR-43 Rear Sprocket 43 Tooth Aluminum Steel Hybrid

The Vortex 824ZR-43 is a high-performance hybrid rear sprocket featuring 43 teeth, combining the durability of steel with the lightweight advantages of aluminum. This sprocket uses Vortex's CAT5 (Carrier Assembly Technology) design, which features steel teeth for maximum wear resistance mated to a lightweight aluminum carrier for reduced rotational mass and improved acceleration.

Key Features:

• 43-tooth configuration for optimized gearing ratio
• Hybrid construction with hardened steel teeth and 7075-T6 aluminum carrier
• CAT5 technology provides 66% longer life than aluminum-only sprockets
• Reduces weight by up to 50% compared to all-steel sprockets
• CNC-machined from aerospace-grade materials for precision fitment
• Red anodized aluminum carrier with zinc-plated steel teeth
• Self-cleaning mud groove design between teeth

Vortex sprockets are manufactured to exact tolerances and undergo rigorous quality control testing. The hybrid design delivers the perfect balance of strength, weight savings, and longevity for serious riders who demand the best performance from their drivetrain components.
