Vortex 823A-48 Aluminum Rear Sprocket 48-Tooth 530-Pitch

The Vortex 823A-48 is a precision-engineered 48-tooth aluminum rear sprocket designed specifically for Marchesini (Myrtle West) one-piece forged wheels. This high-performance sprocket is manufactured from premium 7075-T6 aluminum alloy, offering exceptional strength while reducing rotating mass compared to steel sprockets.

Key Features:

• 48-tooth configuration with 530-pitch chain compatibility
• CNC machined from aerospace-grade 7075-T6 aluminum for optimal strength-to-weight ratio
• Vortex patented tooth design increases longevity and reduces chain wear
• Precision manufacturing ensures perfect concentricity for smooth power transfer
• Clear anodized finish resists corrosion and maintains attractive appearance
• Self-cleaning mud grooves prevent debris buildup
• 66% lighter than steel sprockets for improved acceleration

The unique tooth profile and tight manufacturing tolerances reduce friction and drag, resulting in better acceleration, deceleration, and extended component life. Heat-treated and hand-finished to meet the highest quality standards for racing and street performance applications.
