Product Details

The Vortex 822CZR-47 is a high-performance CAT5 aluminum rear sprocket featuring 47 teeth, designed for sport and racing motorcycles. Manufactured from aerospace-grade 7075-T6 aluminum alloy, this sprocket delivers exceptional strength while significantly reducing rotational mass compared to steel alternatives.

Key Features:

  • Precision CNC-machined from lightweight aerospace-grade aluminum
  • CAT5 hard-anodized finish for superior wear resistance and durability
  • Drilled lightening holes reduce weight without sacrificing strength
  • Tight manufacturing tolerances ensure perfect concentricity and smooth power transfer
  • Self-cleaning tooth profile helps prevent debris buildup
  • 47-tooth configuration for optimal acceleration and top-end balance

Vortex sprockets are trusted by professional race teams worldwide and manufactured to the highest quality standards. The CAT5 hard-anodized coating bonds directly to the aluminum surface, creating a more durable finish with reduced friction compared to standard anodizing. Each sprocket undergoes rigorous quality control to ensure it meets Vortex's exacting specifications for concentricity, tooth profile accuracy, and surface finish.

Delivery was incredibly quick; it goes out the door very fast, which I appreciated when needing something for my boat.

This was my first order and your representative walked me through the process on the phone to make it a seamless order.
