Product Details

The Vortex 822AZR-52 is a high-performance CAT5 aluminum rear sprocket featuring 52 teeth, engineered for serious riders who demand the best in lightweight strength and durability. This sprocket is part of Vortex Racing's premium CAT5 series, which has become the industry standard for racing and high-performance street applications.

Key Features:

  • CNC machined from aircraft-grade 7075-T6 aluminum for exceptional strength-to-weight ratio
  • CAT5 anodized finish applied BEFORE machining, creating distinctive colored sprocket with silver machined highlights
  • Patented tooth profile design increases sprocket longevity and ensures perfect chain engagement
  • Lightweight construction reduces unsprung rotating mass for improved handling and acceleration
  • 100% manufactured in the USA to the tightest tolerances in the industry
  • 52-tooth configuration for optimized gearing options

Vortex Racing has been the choice of professional race teams and champions worldwide for over 15 years. Each sprocket undergoes rigorous quality control and is track-tested to ensure maximum performance and reliability. The reduction in rotating mass not only improves acceleration but also enhances suspension performance and overall handling characteristics.

The part I needed was in stock at a fair price and delivery was free. Item delivered in perfect condition in a few days.

Tires arrived in a very timely manner, price was great! Would buy from again for sure.

I found what I wanted, it was a really good price, I ordered it, it showed up shortly thereafter, and there's nothing wrong with it. This sounds like a boring, uneventful transaction and that's exactly what it was. Which is absolutely perfect and the way it should be. No drama, good products at good prices with good service. Thanks so much!
