Product Details

The Vortex 822-44 is a silver 44-tooth rear sprocket designed for 530 pitch chain applications. This lightweight aluminum racing sprocket is 100% CNC manufactured in the USA from specially formulated alloy per Vortex specifications.

Key Features:

  • Silver anodized finish to prevent corrosion
  • Unique tooth design increases sprocket longevity
  • Vortex patented sprocket design is unlike any other sprocket
  • Half the weight of steel counterparts for reduced rotating mass
  • Precision CNC machining ensures perfect fitment

530 pitch is thicker than 520 pitch, making it ideal for high-performance street bikes and larger displacement motorcycles. Aluminum sprockets are very sensitive to chain cleanliness and tension, so bikes with aluminum sprockets should have the chain cleaned and tensioned every 300-400 miles to maximize performance and longevity.
