Product Details

The Vortex 528AZO-44 is a lightweight aluminum rear sprocket designed for high-performance motorcycles using 530 pitch chains. This 44-tooth sprocket features Vortex's signature orange anodized finish that provides excellent corrosion resistance while reducing weight compared to steel sprockets.

Key Features:

  • 100% CNC manufactured in the USA from specially formulated aluminum alloy
  • 44-tooth configuration for 530 pitch chains
  • Orange anodized finish prevents corrosion and adds distinctive styling
  • Patented tooth design reduces drag and friction for improved acceleration
  • Precision machined to tight tolerances for optimal chain engagement
  • Significantly lighter than steel sprockets for reduced rotating mass
  • Enhanced tooth profile increases sprocket and chain longevity

Vortex Racing sprockets are trusted by professional race teams worldwide and manufactured to the highest quality standards. The lightweight aluminum construction allows for quick gearing changes while the unique tooth design extends the service life of both the sprocket and chain.

I ordered a tire from thmotorsports that the manufacturer had discontinued two years earlier and which I could not find anywhere else, without checking customer reviews first, something I never do. Had I checked reviews first I would never have placed the order as the reviews I read after placing my order were uniformly awful. But rather than call and cancel the order, which was my first impulse, I resisted the urge to do so and waited. A day later, the shipping update said my tire had shipped, so I waited. Another day later, the shipping update said my tire would arrive a day later by the end of the day so I waited. On the appointed day, the tire, exactly the tire I had ordered and which was unavailable anywhere else, arrived at the end of the day, brand new, in perfect condition and I was utterly amazed. Thank you, thmotorsports, I am so glad I did not look at your reviews before placing my order.
