Product Details

The Vortex 525-SPJ is a precision-engineered steel front sprocket designed for 525-pitch motorcycle drive systems. Built by Vortex Racing, a U.S.-based manufacturer known for quality motorcycle racing components, this sprocket delivers the durability and performance demanded by riders and racers.

Key Features:

  • Precision machined from high-quality induction hardened steel for maximum strength and wear resistance
  • Zinc-plated coating provides corrosion resistance and an attractive finish
  • Weight-reducing holes machined into the design without compromising structural integrity
  • Manufactured to extremely tight tolerances using controlled induction hardening process
  • 525 pitch design compatible with 525-series drive chains

Vortex sprockets are trusted by professional racers including Chad Reed, Josh Hayes, and Ryan Dungey. Each sprocket undergoes rigorous quality control to ensure proper fitment and long service life. The induction hardening process heats the steel using controlled electrical current, allowing for superior hardness characteristics compared to conventional heat treating methods.

THANKS

I love my BBK parts, especially the fact that they are American made. The only problem I had with this order was from FedEx. I never received any shipping information until they had been sitting at my driveway for 24 hours. I received a notice that they were shipped and delivered all in the same day.

So excited to find this website. Awesome agent & prices for budget friendly shoppers. Thank you thank you!!!!
