Vortex 522ZR-42 Red 42-Tooth Aluminum Rear Sprocket

The Vortex 522ZR-42 is a high-performance aluminum rear sprocket designed for sportbike applications. This 42-tooth sprocket features Vortex's distinctive red anodized finish, combining eye-catching aesthetics with functional corrosion resistance.

Key Features:

• 42-tooth configuration for optimal gearing ratios
• Lightweight aluminum alloy construction reduces unsprung weight
• Red anodized finish for durability and style
• Unique tooth profile design for extended sprocket life
• CNC-machined for precise fitment and balance
• Compatible with 520 chain pitch applications

Vortex sprockets are engineered with a patented tooth design that distributes wear more evenly across the sprocket face, resulting in longer service life compared to standard sprockets. The hard-anodized coating provides excellent wear resistance while the lightweight aluminum construction helps improve acceleration and reduces rotational mass.
