Vortex 488A-40 Aluminum Rear Sprocket 40-Tooth 530-Pitch Silver

The Vortex 488A-40 is a lightweight aluminum rear sprocket featuring Vortex's patented design for high-performance motorcycle applications. Manufactured from 7075 T6 aluminum, the highest quality material for optimal light weight and durability, this 40-tooth, 530-pitch sprocket significantly reduces rotating mass compared to stock steel sprockets.

Key Features:

• 100% CNC manufactured in the USA to ensure precision and quality
• Specially formulated aluminum alloy per Vortex specifications
• Silver anodized finish to prevent corrosion
• Unique tooth design increases sprocket longevity
• CNC machined to tightest tolerances creating a perfectly concentric sprocket that frees horsepower and extends chain life
• Reduced rotating weight improves acceleration
• Perfected tooth design with less drag and reduced friction

Mud grooves and coatings help keep components clean, making this an ideal upgrade for riders seeking improved performance through weight reduction and enhanced drivetrain efficiency. The reduced rotational mass provides noticeable improvements in acceleration and handling responsiveness.
