Product Details

The Vortex 435CZR-38 is a lightweight CAT5 aluminum racing sprocket designed for serious riders seeking performance gains and distinctive style. This high-performance sprocket is manufactured from specially formulated 7075 T6 aluminum, offering an optimal balance of reduced weight and durability compared to stock steel sprockets.

Key Features:

  • 100% CNC manufactured in the U.S.A.
  • Saber tooth grooves with unique tooth design increases sprocket longevity
  • Vortex patented sprocket design is unlike any other sprocket
  • Color anodizing excludes sweeps, mud grooves and teeth, creating a bright flash of red with silver highlights
  • 38-tooth configuration for 520 pitch chain
  • Reduces mass to free horsepower and extends the life of both chain and sprocket

The CAT5 series sprockets feature contrasting silver machine cuts on the teeth and grooves, creating an eye-catching appearance while maintaining the structural integrity needed for racing applications. Compatible with various Kawasaki, Suzuki, and Yamaha sportbike models using 520 chain pitch.

I ordered a tire from thmotorsports that the manufacturer had discontinued two years earlier and which I could not find anywhere else, without checking customer reviews first, something I never do. Had I checked reviews first I would never have placed the order as the reviews I read after placing my order were uniformly awful. But rather than call and cancel the order, which was my first impulse, I resisted the urge to do so and waited. A day later, the shipping update said my tire had shipped, so I waited. Another day later, the shipping update said my tire would arrive a day later by the end of the day so I waited. On the appointed day, the tire, exactly the tire I had ordered and which was unavailable anywhere else, arrived at the end of the day, brand new, in perfect condition and I was utterly amazed. Thank you, thmotorsports, I am so glad I did not look at your reviews before placing my order.

Excellent overall.

Called customer service just to verify the part fits.
