Vortex 422ZB-48 Aluminum Rear Sprocket 48 Tooth 520 Pitch

The Vortex 422ZB-48 is a high-performance aluminum rear sprocket designed for motorcycles requiring 520 pitch chain. This 48-tooth sprocket is precision CNC machined from 7075-T6 aerospace-grade aluminum, delivering exceptional strength while significantly reducing rotating mass compared to stock steel sprockets.

Key Features:

• 48 teeth for optimized gearing ratios
• 520 chain pitch compatibility
• CNC machined from 7075-T6 billet aluminum for superior strength-to-weight ratio
• Unique Vortex patented tooth design increases sprocket longevity
• Saber tooth grooves reduce friction and improve chain engagement
• Reduced rotating mass improves acceleration and deceleration
• Precision manufacturing ensures perfect concentricity
• Special anodized finish resists corrosion
• Lightweight construction aids in directional changes and overall handling

Vortex Racing has been manufacturing premium motorcycle racing components for over 15 years, trusted by champions in road racing, motocross, and supercross. The reduced weight of aluminum sprockets compared to steel provides measurable performance benefits, with less rotating mass translating directly to improved acceleration and reduced gyroscopic forces.
