Product Details

The Vortex 405-49 is a 49-tooth rear sprocket featuring a unique tooth design that increases sprocket longevity. Manufactured from aerospace-grade aluminum, this sprocket provides optimal power transfer and reduced rotational mass, making it an excellent choice for both street and racing applications.

Key Features:

  • 49-tooth configuration for 520 pitch chain
  • Aerospace-grade 7075-T6 aluminum alloy construction
  • Patented Vortex tooth profile for extended service life
  • Lightweight design reduces unsprung weight for improved handling
  • Silver anodized finish for corrosion resistance
  • Precision CNC-machined for accurate fitment

Riders choose Vortex sprockets for their superior craftsmanship, longevity, and the ability to fine-tune gear ratios for improved acceleration and top-end speed. The reduced rotational mass compared to steel sprockets enhances throttle response and overall performance, making this an ideal upgrade from OEM gearing or for racers looking to optimize their powertrain setup.

The armrests were shipped and arrived quickly. Kuryaken is a quality brand sold by Cycleplicity.
