Vortex 338-48 Aluminum Rear Sprocket 48-Tooth 520 Pitch

The Vortex 338-48 aluminum rear sprocket delivers lightweight performance and precision engineering for motorcycle chain drive systems. This 48-tooth sprocket features a 520 pitch chain compatibility and is manufactured from specially formulated aluminum alloy to Vortex specifications.

Key Features:

• 48-tooth configuration for 520 pitch chain applications
• CNC machined aluminum construction for precise concentricity and reduced rotating mass
• Specially formulated alloy per Vortex specifications ensures optimal strength-to-weight ratio
• Patented Vortex sprocket design with unique tooth profile for extended longevity
• Lightweight design improves acceleration and reduces drivetrain stress
• Clear anodized finish helps prevent corrosion while maintaining attractive appearance
• Perfected tooth geometry reduces drag and friction for better power transfer

Vortex aluminum sprockets are engineered as high-performance alternatives to heavier steel stock sprockets. The reduced rotating mass translates to improved throttle response and acceleration, while the precision CNC manufacturing process creates perfectly concentric sprockets that free up horsepower and extend the life of both chain and sprocket components.
