Product Details

The Vortex 317ZB-40 is a high-performance CAT5 aluminum rear sprocket designed for sport motorcycles. Featuring 40 teeth, this sprocket is precision-machined from lightweight aerospace-grade 7075-T6 aluminum alloy for optimal strength-to-weight ratio and exceptional durability.

Key Features:

  • 40-tooth configuration for balanced acceleration and top speed performance
  • CAT5 aluminum construction reduces rotational mass compared to steel sprockets
  • CNC-machined from 7075-T6 aerospace-grade aluminum for precise tolerances
  • Hard-anodized finish provides excellent wear resistance and corrosion protection
  • Self-cleaning tooth design helps prevent mud and debris buildup
  • Engineered for optimal power transfer to the rear wheel

Vortex sprockets are manufactured to exacting standards and are used by professional racers worldwide. The lightweight aluminum construction reduces unsprung weight, improving suspension performance and handling response. This sprocket is ideal for street riding, track days, and racing applications where weight savings and performance matter.

So far so good. Let see how long I have to wait for delivery

good price

The price was the best I found. It took way too long to finally ship (in my opinion) but FedEx got it here quickly so it worked out within my time frame. Overall, I would consider them again if the price is right and I'm not under time constraints
