Vortex 314-49 Aluminum Rear Sprocket 49-Tooth Silver

The Vortex 314-49 is a lightweight, 49-tooth aluminum rear sprocket engineered for performance-oriented riders and racers. Manufactured 100% in the USA using a specially formulated aluminum alloy developed to Vortex's own exacting specifications, this sprocket delivers an ideal balance of reduced rotating mass and reliable drivetrain performance.

Each sprocket is CNC-machined to precise tolerances for true concentricity, then finished with a silver anodized coating to resist corrosion and oxidation. Vortex's patented tooth profile is engineered to promote smooth chain engagement and extend sprocket service life compared to conventional designs. Strategically placed lightening holes further reduce unsprung rotating weight without compromising structural integrity.

Key Features:

• 49-tooth rear sprocket
• Lightweight aluminum construction — approximately half the weight of a steel equivalent
• 100% CNC-machined in the USA
• Specially formulated aluminum alloy per Vortex specifications
• Silver anodized finish for corrosion resistance
• Patented unique tooth design for increased longevity and smooth chain engagement
• Lightening holes to minimize rotating mass

Vortex aluminum sprockets are the preferred choice for road racing, motocross, flat track, and drag racing applications where weight savings are critical. For optimal performance and longevity, chain cleanliness and tension should be checked regularly when running an aluminum sprocket.
