Vortex 212ZR-53 CAT5 Rear Sprocket 53 Tooth

The Vortex 212ZR-53 is a high-performance rear sprocket from Vortex's CAT5 series, engineered for sportbike and performance motorcycle applications. This 53-tooth sprocket is precision-machined from lightweight 7075-T6 aluminum alloy and features a zinc-based coating for enhanced durability and corrosion resistance.

Key Features:

• 53-tooth configuration for optimized gearing ratios
• 7075-T6 aircraft-grade aluminum construction for superior strength-to-weight ratio
• Zinc-rich coating provides corrosion protection and extended service life
• CNC-machined for precise tooth profile and quiet operation
• Self-cleaning mud groove design prevents debris buildup
• CAT5 series design balances performance, weight reduction, and durability

Vortex sprockets are manufactured to strict tolerances to ensure proper chain engagement and maximize drivetrain efficiency. The lightweight aluminum construction reduces unsprung and rotating mass, improving acceleration and handling response compared to heavier steel sprockets.
