Autopart International 2403-587425 A/C Expansion Valve

The Autopart International 2403-587425 is an A/C expansion valve designed to regulate refrigerant flow in automotive air conditioning systems. This component serves as a critical metering device that controls the amount of refrigerant entering the evaporator, ensuring optimal cooling performance and system efficiency.

Key Features:

• Precision metering device for accurate refrigerant flow control
• Regulates pressure differential between high and low-pressure sides of the A/C system
• Direct replacement for worn or failed original equipment expansion valves
• Engineered to OE specifications for reliable fit and performance
• Helps maintain proper evaporator temperatures for maximum cooling efficiency

The expansion valve works by reducing high-pressure liquid refrigerant to a low-pressure mist before it enters the evaporator core. This pressure drop allows the refrigerant to absorb heat from the cabin air, producing the cooling effect. A properly functioning expansion valve is essential for maintaining adequate cooling capacity and preventing issues such as evaporator freeze-up or insufficient cooling. Autopart International provides quality aftermarket HVAC components engineered for dependable performance and long service life.
