Asco 8215B080CSA 2-Inch 2-Way Gas Solenoid Safety Shutoff Valve 120/60 VAC

The ASCO 8215B080CSA is an aluminum body, lightweight gas safety shutoff valve designed for high flow, low-pressure air or gas service. This 2-way normally closed valve features a 2-inch NPT connection with a 2-3/32-inch orifice and impressive Cv 60 flow coefficient, delivering a gas capacity of 3,251,000 BTU/hr. Ideal for fuel trains, industrial heating equipment, and HVAC applications.

Key Features:

• Pilot operated construction works from zero pressure differential with resilient soft seating for tight shutoff
• Aluminum body with Buna-N (NBR) elastomer seals
• Dual voltage operation: 120/60 Hz and 110/50 Hz VAC
• Maximum operating pressure: 25 PSI for both air and gas service
• Zero minimum pressure differential, maximum media temperature 125°F
• 15.4 watt power consumption with Class F coil insulation
• NEMA 1 general purpose enclosure with 18-inch lead length
• UL approved as safety shutoff valve
• CSA certified to ANS Z21.21/CGA 6.5 standards for automatic gas valves

The 8215 Series is ideal for vacuum service and heating equipment applications. Optional long-life design eliminates metal-to-metal contact to extend life up to 20 million cycles. This valve must be mounted vertically and upright for proper operation.
