Resideo by HoneyWell 8MARD Modulating Automatic Round Damper Engine Harmonic Balancer - 8-Inch

The Resideo by Honeywell 8MARD is an 8-inch modulating automatic round damper designed for residential and light commercial HVAC zoning systems. This motorized damper provides precise airflow control by automatically opening and closing to direct conditioned air to specific zones based on thermostat demand.

Key Features:

• 8-inch round duct size for standard residential ductwork
• Modulating operation allows variable positioning for precise airflow control
• 24VAC spring-return motor automatically closes when power is removed
• Heavy-duty galvanized steel construction for durability
• Low power consumption for energy-efficient operation
• Compatible with most modern zoning control panels
• Quick-connect wiring terminals for easy installation
• Crimped duct connections for secure fitting in round ductwork

This automatic damper is ideal for creating multi-zone comfort control systems, allowing independent temperature control in different areas of a home or building. The modulating design provides smoother operation and better temperature control compared to simple open/close dampers, reducing temperature fluctuations and improving overall system efficiency.
