Tracer Products TRATP9790-BX EZ-Shot Universal A/C Dye Injection Kit

The Tracer Products TRATP9790-BX EZ-Shot Dye Injection Kit is a professional-grade solution for detecting leaks in automotive air conditioning systems. This complete kit uses fluorescent UV dye technology to make even the smallest refrigerant leaks visible under ultraviolet light, enabling precise diagnosis and faster repairs.

Universal Refrigerant Compatibility:

The included universal/ester dye formula is compatible with R-1234yf, R-134a, and R-12 refrigerant systems, making this kit versatile across modern and older vehicle applications. The kit includes both R-134a hose/coupler and R-1234yf adapter for comprehensive compatibility.

Key Features:

• EZ-Shot caulking gun-style injector assembly for quick and easy dye injection
• 8 oz BigEZ universal/ester dye cartridge (TP9770-8) for multiple uses
• R-1234yf adapter (TP9831) and R-134a hose/coupler (TP11) included
• One-step hookup design streamlines the injection process
• Long-lasting dye formula remains in system for future leak detection
• Professional-grade construction for durability and consistent performance

How It Works:

After injecting the fluorescent dye into the A/C system, run the vehicle for 5-10 minutes to allow circulation. The dye escapes with refrigerant at leak points and glows brightly under UV light (sold separately), pinpointing the exact location of leaks. This eliminates guesswork and reduces diagnostic time.

Made by Spectronics Corporation, the company that invented fluorescent leak detection in 1955 and remains the world leader in UV leak detection technology. UV light not included.
