AMP Research 86239-01A PowerStep SmartSeries Electric Running Boards 2018-2024 Ram 2500/3500 Diesel

The AMP Research PowerStep SmartSeries represents the latest innovation in electric-powered running boards, offering smartphone-controlled operation right at your fingertips. This advanced system utilizes a smartphone app that enables you to control whether your running boards stay up or down with a manual override included. Like all PowerStep products, the SmartSeries integrates into your vehicle's electrical system, automatically deploying when you open a door and retracting after a 3-second delay when the door closes.

Smartphone Integration & Control:

• Features AMP Research's all-new smartphone integration for iOS and Android devices, allowing manual override from your smart device
• In-app flexibility to override steps to stay up or down, as well as power on/off the integrated or auxiliary LED light system
• Includes auxiliary port to power and operate additional LED lights
• No more physical manual override switch - complete control through the app

Premium Construction & Design:

• Heavy-duty alloy construction consisting of anodized cast-aluminum steps, hinges, and corrosion-resistant stainless steel hinge pins
• Step surfaces treated with military-grade PTFE coating for enhanced corrosion protection and wear resistance
• Massive 6-inch wide board surface perfect for any size foot and any type of footwear
• 600-pound load capacity - twice the weight capacity of most other steps
• New step profile designed to complement modern truck body styling

Superior Ground Clearance & Accessibility:

• Drops much lower than other steps - most stationary running boards rest 1-2 inches below the body
• PowerSteps drop approximately 6 to 7 inches when deployed, compared to 2-3 inches for traditional running boards
• Tuck under the vehicle when retracted, providing amazing ground clearance while driving and the functionality of a perfectly placed step when deployed
• Full-length design with over a foot of drop from door sill plate on most applications

Integrated LED Lighting:

• Includes two pairs of LED lights to illuminate the running board and ground below to maximize safety when entering and exiting
• LED lights activate when steps deploy and turn off when retracted
• Controllable through smartphone app

Installation & Warranty:

• Features intuitive installation using included vehicle-specific mounting brackets, hardware, instructions, and plug-n-play wiring harness
• Module allows integration into vehicle's factory electrical system with minimal cutting, splicing, and modification
• Backed by industry-leading 5-year/60,000-mile limited warranty
• Proudly made in the USA with global materials
• Professional installation recommended due to electrical integration
