CP-Carrillo M9015 Forged Piston Kit 97mm 13.0:1 Powersports

The CP-Carrillo M9015 is a high-performance forged piston kit engineered for the 2008–2014 Can-Am DS450 single-cylinder four-stroke ATV. Part of CP-Carrillo's powersports piston lineup, the M9015 delivers a 13.0:1 compression ratio at standard 97mm bore and 60.8mm stroke (449cc displacement), targeting riders who demand more power from their DS450 build.

Key Features:

• Forged aluminum construction for superior strength and reduced weight compared to cast alternatives
• 97mm standard bore with 60.8mm stroke — direct replacement dimensions for the DS450 engine
• 13.0:1 high-compression ratio for increased power output in naturally aspirated applications
• X-style forging for additional structural integrity and weight savings
• Compatible with oversized valves and high-lift camshafts via oversize valve pockets
• Full radius dome design with high-performance piston rings and lightweight wrist pin
• Ring set: CPN2-2-3819 (2-ring pack, 97.00mm)
• Wrist pin part number: W787-2000-15CP1C

Each CP-Carrillo piston undergoes rigorous quality control at their Irvine, California manufacturing facility, including CNC machining with probing validation, dual magnaflux inspection, Rockwell hardness testing, and a controlled shot peen process for enhanced fatigue life. Cross-reference part numbers include M9013, M9014, CPN2-3819, CPN2-2-3819. Note: Cometic top-end gasket sets are available separately and are not included with this piston kit.
