EBC S8KR1193 Stage 8 Brake Kit with Extra Duty Pads and Dimpled Slotted Rotors

The EBC S8KR1193 Stage 8 brake kit delivers professional-grade stopping power for trucks and SUVs through a matched combination of high-performance components. This complete brake upgrade package includes EBC Extra Duty brake pads (ED91639) and GD series dimpled and slotted sport rotors (GD7106), engineered to work together for maximum braking performance.

Extra Duty Brake Pad Features:

• High-friction formulation effective from cold start to temperatures exceeding 1400°F
• NUCAP NRS hook system backing plate technology provides 5 times the bond strength of conventional pads
• Red Brake-In surface coating enables immediate safe braking after installation
• Dual slot and chamfer pattern reduces noise and improves heat dissipation
• Carbon granule-based material reduces brake dust and noise
• V-shaped grooves promote cooling in high-temperature pad centers

Dimpled and Slotted Rotor Features:

• Full sweep slot pattern scrapes away burnt carbon deposits for consistent pad contact
• Blind hole dimples provide structural stability and prevent rotor cracking
• Enhanced heat evacuation prevents brake fade during heavy use
• Improved gas venting from rotor surface maintains braking efficiency
• Designed for temperatures up to 800-900°C

This Stage 8 kit is ideal for trucks and SUVs used for towing, hauling heavy loads, or navigating steep descents where reliable braking performance is critical. The matched pad and rotor combination delivers superior stopping power compared to factory brakes while maintaining smooth, quiet operation for daily driving.
