ACDelco 85584365 Transmission Cooler Bypass Valve

The ACDelco 85584365 Transmission Cooler Bypass Valve is a genuine GM component designed to regulate transmission fluid flow through the cooling system. This valve plays a critical role in maintaining optimal transmission operating temperatures by controlling when fluid flows through the external cooler versus bypassing it during cold starts.

Key Features:

• Genuine ACDelco GM OEM part for reliable fit and performance
• Controls transmission fluid routing to optimize warm-up time and operating temperature
• Allows transmission to reach operating temperature quickly by bypassing cooler when cold
• Directs fluid through cooler once transmission reaches optimal temperature
• Precision-engineered to meet GM specifications
• Direct replacement for worn or failed original equipment

This bypass valve is essential for proper transmission thermal management, helping to extend transmission life by preventing both overcooling during startup and overheating during operation. When the valve fails, it can cause delayed shifting, transmission overheating, or premature wear.
