Briggs & Stratton 694864 Governor Control Lever

The Briggs & Stratton 694864 Governor Control Lever is a genuine OEM replacement part designed to regulate engine speed and maintain consistent RPM performance on Briggs & Stratton small engines. This critical component connects the internal governor mechanism to the carburetor throttle linkage, enabling automatic speed control regardless of load conditions.

Key Features:

• Genuine Briggs & Stratton OEM part ensures exact fit and reliable performance
• Controls governor settings to maintain steady engine speed under varying loads
• Prevents engine over-revving and reduces wear on internal components
• Direct replacement for worn or damaged governor control levers
• Manufactured to Briggs & Stratton's strict quality standards

The governor control lever works as part of the engine's automatic speed regulation system, similar to cruise control. As engine load increases or decreases—such as when mowing through thick grass or going up hills—the governor system automatically adjusts the throttle to compensate, maintaining optimal engine speed without manual intervention. This part connects the internal governor gear assembly to the external throttle linkage, translating mechanical movement into precise throttle control.

Compatible with various Briggs & Stratton small engines found on lawn mowers, lawn tractors, generators, pressure washers, and other outdoor power equipment. Using genuine OEM parts like the 694864 ensures proper fit, performance, and longevity of your equipment.
