Briggs & Stratton 595284 Governor Control Lever OEM Replacement Part

The Briggs & Stratton 595284 Governor Control Lever is a genuine OEM replacement part designed to regulate engine speed and maintain stable, consistent performance in Briggs & Stratton powered outdoor equipment. Replacing a worn or damaged governor control lever restores proper throttle response and protects the engine from over-speed and under-speed conditions.

The governor control lever connects the mechanical governor assembly to the carburetor throttle linkage. As engine load changes, the governor system moves this lever to open or close the throttle, keeping RPMs within the correct operating range and preventing engine damage from excessive speed or lugging.

Key Features:

• Genuine OEM Part – Manufactured by Briggs & Stratton to original equipment specifications for guaranteed fit and function
• Engine Speed Regulation – Works with the governor assembly to maintain consistent RPMs under varying load conditions
• Durable Construction – Built to withstand the mechanical stress and heat cycles of small engine operation
• Direct Replacement – Drop-in replacement for worn, bent, or broken governor control levers; no modification required
