Proper valve clearance is critical for engine longevity and performance. This adjuster allows you to set the correct gap using a feeler gauge, accounting for thermal expansion and ensuring valves fully seat during operation. Regular valve adjustment with quality OEM parts like this helps prevent valve train noise, maintains compression, and extends engine life. Compatible with various Briggs & Stratton engines used in lawn mowers, tillers, chipper shredders, and other outdoor power equipment.
