Briggs & Stratton 793007 Governor Spring OEM Replacement Part

The Briggs & Stratton 793007 is a genuine OEM governor spring designed as a direct factory replacement for Briggs & Stratton small engines. As an original equipment manufacturer part, it is manufactured to the same specifications and tolerances as the spring that came installed in your engine from the factory, ensuring a precise fit and reliable performance.

The governor spring plays a critical role in your engine's governor system, working in conjunction with the governor arm and linkage to regulate and maintain consistent engine speed under varying load conditions. A worn, stretched, or broken governor spring can result in erratic engine speed, surging, over-revving, or inability to maintain RPM under load — making this a key maintenance and repair component.
