Wiseco RED0083X125 RED Series Chevy Small Block 400 Forged Piston 4.125 in. Bore -10cc Dish

The Wiseco RED0083X125 is a RED Series forged piston designed for Chevrolet Small Block 400 applications. Featuring a 4.125 in. (standard +0.125 in. oversized) bore, a 1.105 in. compression height, and a -10cc dish piston crown, this single piston is precision-engineered to deliver the performance and durability demanded by high-output engines.

Built under Wiseco's Race Engineered Design™ (RED) program, RED Series pistons are forged and machined in the USA from 2618 aluminum alloy — the preferred material for power adder and racing applications due to its superior tensile strength and heat resistance. Dedicated engine-specific forgings allow for an optimized strutted design that maximizes the strength-to-weight ratio without sacrificing durability.

Key Features:

• Bore: 4.125 in. (standard +0.125 in. oversize)
• Compression Height: 1.105 in.
• Dish Volume: -10cc dish crown
• Material: Forged 2618 aluminum alloy
• ArmorGlide® skirt coating reduces friction, noise, and skirt/cylinder wear
• Strutted forging design optimizes strength-to-weight ratio
• Precision-machined ring grooves for improved ring seal and longevity
• Engineered, forged, and machined in the USA
• Sold individually (single piston)

The RED Series is engineered for a wide range of domestic V8 performance builds — from street/strip applications to circle track and drag racing. The -10cc dish design is well-suited for higher compression ratio builds while maintaining compatibility with stock and performance cylinder heads.
