SBI Engine Parts KL8326 Valve Keeper Set

S.B. International (SBI®) is a premier worldwide supplier of cylinder head components, and the KL8326 is part of their extensive valve keeper (valve lock) product line. Valve keepers are critical components that secure the valve spring retainer to the valve stem, maintaining proper valve train assembly and preventing catastrophic engine failure.

Why Replace Valve Keepers?

• Over time, valve train components develop wear patterns that mate specifically to one another
• Reusing worn keepers with new valves creates mismatched wear surfaces and can cause stress fractures
• New keepers should always be installed during any cylinder head reconditioning procedure

SBI Valve Keeper Quality:

• Manufactured from high-quality hardenable steels and carbon steels to meet or exceed OEM specifications
• Standard hardness range of 40–50 HRc; select heavy-duty applications receive carbonitriding for a minimum of 55 HRc
• Available in multiple styles including square groove, round groove (1–4 bead), no-bead, and pin type
• OEM-designed to ensure proper fitment to mating components and maximize service life

SBI valve keepers are trusted by engine remanufacturers and professional technicians across automotive, light truck, heavy-duty diesel, agricultural, marine, and industrial engine applications.
