SBI KL8310 Valve Keeper Set Engine Valve Retainer Locks

The SBI KL8310 is an aftermarket replacement valve keeper set (also known as valve keys or valve retainer locks) from S.B. International, Inc. — a premier worldwide supplier of cylinder head components since 1982. Designed to meet or exceed OEM specifications, these valve keepers securely lock the valve spring retainer to the valve stem, maintaining proper valve spring tension and ensuring reliable valvetrain operation.

Key Features:

• Manufactured to meet or exceed original equipment manufacturer (OEM) specifications
• Precision-machined for consistent fit and reliable retention
• Compatible with SBI and OEM-spec valve stems and retainers
• Suitable for use during engine rebuilds, cylinder head restorations, and valve jobs
• Produced under Statistical Process Control (SPC) quality standards

SBI valve keepers are a trusted choice among professional engine remanufacturers and machine shop technicians. Replacing worn valve keepers during a valve job helps prevent valvetrain failures caused by worn keeper grooves and mismatched components. Always inspect and replace valve keepers as part of a complete cylinder head rebuild for best results.
