Amana-Goodman 0130F00791 Furnace Air Pressure Switch OEM Replacement

The Amana-Goodman 0130F00791 is an OEM air pressure switch designed as a direct factory replacement for Goodman, Amana, and Janitrol gas furnaces. This critical safety component monitors the negative pressure generated by the induced draft motor, verifying that proper airflow and venting conditions exist before the ignition sequence is permitted to proceed.

The switch operates as a normally open (NO) device that closes when the inducer motor creates sufficient negative pressure in the flue collector box. If the required vacuum is not achieved — due to a blocked vent, failed inducer motor, or restricted combustion air intake — the switch remains open, preventing the gas valve from energizing and protecting against dangerous carbon monoxide buildup.

Key Features:

• Genuine OEM Amana/Goodman replacement part — factory-calibrated pressure setpoint, no field adjustment required
• Monitors induced draft motor performance to ensure safe venting before ignition
• Prevents gas valve operation if venting or combustion air is obstructed
• Single-pole, single-throw (SPST) contact configuration
• Durable construction engineered to withstand the thermal cycling and vibration common in residential furnace applications
• Compatible with Goodman, Amana, and Janitrol branded furnace systems

Part number 0130F00791 is the manufacturer's designated replacement switch for applicable furnace models. Always verify compatibility with your specific furnace model number before installation. This switch arrives factory-set and should not be adjusted in the field.
