Namura Technologies NA-80001-2 Piston Kit with Coated Skirts - MOS2

The Namura Technologies NA-80001-2 piston kit delivers OEM-quality performance with advanced features designed for durability and reliability. Engineered using a hypereutectic casting process, this piston provides superior wear resistance and can withstand higher cylinder temperatures than standard cast pistons.

Advanced Coating and Surface Technology:

• MOS2 (Teflon/Molybdenum) Coated Skirts: Rolled-on application creates a bond 10 times stronger than spray-on coatings, increasing heat transfer, reducing friction, and preventing cold seizures
• Machined Smooth Heads: Reflects combustion heat and reduces carbon buildup to protect the piston crown; testing shows potential increases in horsepower and fuel economy up to 6%
• Anodized Domes: Provides 75% more strength than non-anodized pistons while increasing heat resistance and durability

Hypereutectic Construction Benefits:

• Higher silicon content reduces thermal expansion rates
• Enhanced wear resistance for extended service life
• Superior ability to handle elevated cylinder temperatures
• Tighter piston-to-cylinder wall clearances for improved performance

This complete piston kit includes all necessary components for installation. Namura Technologies pistons are designed to meet or exceed OEM specifications, making them an excellent choice for engine rebuilds and performance applications.
