S&S Cycle 11-7245 Main Jet .090 for Super E and G Carburetors

The S&S Cycle 11-7245 is a precision-manufactured main jet with a .090-inch orifice designed for S&S Super E and G carburetors. This brass main jet controls fuel delivery during mid-range to wide-open throttle operation, making it essential for proper carburetor tuning and engine performance on Harley-Davidson V-twin motorcycles.

Key Features:

• Precision .090-inch (90 thousandths) orifice diameter for accurate fuel metering
• Compatible with S&S Super B, Super E, and Super G carburetors
• High-quality brass construction for durability and consistent flow characteristics
• Made in the USA to S&S Cycle specifications
• Essential component for carburetor jetting and performance tuning

Main jets are typically sized based on engine displacement, camshaft profile, exhaust system, and air cleaner configuration. The .090-inch jet size falls within the range commonly used for larger displacement V-twin engines (typically 86-98+ cubic inches) with performance modifications. Proper main jet selection ensures optimal air-fuel ratio at higher RPM ranges, preventing lean conditions that can cause engine damage or rich conditions that result in poor performance and fuel economy.

Application Note: Main jet tuning should be performed systematically along with intermediate jet and idle mixture adjustments. Starting with a slightly richer jet and working down is recommended to protect engine components during the tuning process.
