Delphi SS20887 ABS Wheel Speed Sensor

The Delphi SS20887 ABS Wheel Speed Sensor is a precision replacement component designed to monitor wheel rotation and provide critical speed data to your vehicle's anti-lock brake system. This sensor plays a vital role in preventing wheel lockup during braking, as well as supporting traction control and electronic stability systems for enhanced vehicle safety.

Key Features:

• OE-quality construction engineered to meet or exceed original equipment specifications
• Advanced signal processing technology for accurate wheel speed detection at all speeds
• Weather-resistant design with weatherpack connectors and plated pins for reliable performance in harsh conditions
• Optimized wire length and connector design for direct-fit installation
• Rigorously tested to ensure consistent signal stability and long service life
• Compatible with digital ABS and stability control systems

Delphi ABS wheel speed sensors utilize proven magnetic or Hall effect technology to continuously monitor wheel rotation speed, transmitting this data to the ABS control module. When a wheel begins to lock during braking, the system uses this information to modulate brake pressure and maintain vehicle control. This sensor is essential for proper operation of ABS, traction control, and electronic stability programs, making it a safety-critical component that should only be replaced with high-quality parts.
