The Premium Guard PT1283 automatic transmission filter (also called a transmission filter kit or trans filter) is built to match the original filter's fitment, efficiency, pressure and fluid flow. It helps keep dirt, grease and metal shavings out of the transmission fluid, which protects the shift control valves and the rest of the transmission.

Key Features:

  • Engineered to OEM requirements for fit and function
  • Traps harmful contaminants such as dirt, grease and metal shavings
  • Includes a rubber (NBR) gasket with fitted bolt holes for easier installation
  • 13-bolt-hole gasket design
  • Durable construction, tested under extreme conditions
  • Helps protect transmission performance and longevity when replaced at regular service intervals
