Mustang Survival 79781 Automatic Hydrostatic Inflator Mechanism

The Mustang Survival 79781 is an automatic hydrostatic inflator mechanism designed as a replacement or spare component for compatible Mustang Survival inflatable personal flotation devices (PFDs). This rearming and replacement kit ensures your inflatable PFD is always ready to perform when you need it most.

Key Features:

• Automatic hydrostatic activation — inflates when submerged in water to a depth of approximately 4 inches
• Compatible with Mustang Survival inflatable PFD bladders using the standard MD3183 or equivalent auto-inflator housings
• Includes CO2 cylinder, pill-style hydrostatic mechanism, and required hardware for rearming
• Meets or exceeds U.S. Coast Guard (USCG) requirements for Type I, II, and V inflatable PFDs
• Simple, tool-free rearming process for easy field servicing
• Replacement frequency recommended annually or after any inflation event

Keeping your inflatable PFD's inflator mechanism current is a critical part of responsible boating safety. The Mustang Survival 79781 ensures your life jacket will automatically deploy upon water immersion, providing reliable, hands-free buoyancy in an emergency.
