Mustang Survival 76804 Hydrostatic Release Unit for Inflatable PFDs

The Mustang Survival 76804 is a hydrostatic release unit (HRU) designed for use with Mustang Survival inflatable personal flotation devices (PFDs). This automatic activation mechanism is engineered to trigger inflation when submerged to a depth of approximately 1–4 meters (3–13 feet) in water, providing an essential safety backup for unconscious or incapacitated wearers who may be unable to manually activate their life jacket.

Key Features:

• Automatic hydrostatic activation — inflates PFD upon water submersion
• Designed for compatibility with Mustang Survival inflatable PFD systems
• Reliable deployment even if the wearer is unconscious or incapacitated
• Compact, low-profile design integrates seamlessly with compatible inflatable life jackets
• Replacement/service unit to maintain proper PFD readiness
• Meets relevant marine safety standards for hydrostatic release devices

Regular inspection and timely replacement of the hydrostatic release unit is critical to maintaining the integrity and reliability of your inflatable PFD. The Mustang Survival 76804 ensures your life jacket is always ready to perform when it matters most. Always verify compatibility with your specific Mustang Survival PFD model before installation.
