Mustang Survival 75691 HIT Inflatable PFD Life Jacket

The Mustang Survival 75691 is a HIT (Hydrostatic Inflator Technology) Inflatable PFD engineered for serious boaters who demand reliable, low-profile personal flotation in demanding marine environments. Mustang Survival has over 55 years of experience designing life-saving equipment trusted by commercial mariners, recreational boaters, and water safety professionals worldwide.

At the heart of this inflatable life jacket is Mustang Survival's Hydrostatic Inflator Technology (HIT) — an automatic inflation system that activates only when submerged in 4 inches or more of water pressure. Unlike standard auto-inflating PFDs, HIT will not deploy inadvertently from rain, spray, or humidity, giving you confidence in all conditions.

Key Features:

• HIT Auto-Inflation: Automatically inflates upon water submersion (4"+ depth); will not trigger from rain, spray, or humidity
• Manual Backup: Pull-cord handle and oral inflator tube provide redundant inflation options
• Inflator Status Indicator: Clear inspection window allows quick visual confirmation that the inflator is armed and ready
• High Buoyancy: Delivers over 38 lbs of buoyancy when inflated — more than 2x that of typical foam PFDs
• SecureZip Closure: Patented closure system stays shut during rigorous activity and opens effortlessly upon inflation
• Neoprene Comfort Collar: Provides all-day wearing comfort without chafing
• Lightweight & Low Profile: Designed to be worn all day without restricting movement
• USCG Approved: Meets U.S. Coast Guard Type II Recreational and Type V Uninspected Commercial vessel standards

Suitable for fishing, sailing, boating, and select industrial marine and law enforcement applications. Note: Not approved for use on personal watercraft (PWC), white water paddling, water skiing, kneeboarding, or similar towed activities. USCG Type V approval applies only when worn.
